So, either I killed him and the game de-spawned his body, or I just stunned him and he took off. Haven't seen him again since, and his body did vanish, cause I went back in my cyclops to try and get a better (and safer) look at him and get some more screenshots, but he was no where in sight. Grabbed a quick screenshot of him laying either dead or possibly stunned, and then headed straight for my base. I punched the crap out of him all 3 times, and after he grabbed me the third time, and I was punching him constantly he finally died. Crabsnakes are also some of the most nauseating-looking Subnautica. Then he finally grabbed me, in my prawn suit, and I punched him continuously until he let me go, then I ran for my base, and he was able to grab me 2 more times. 12 Crabsnake Players who love monster-tamer video games will love interacting with Crabsnakes because of their unique behavior. I must have hit him about 100 or so times, every time he would go away, and then come back I was able to get in 1 to 3 punches, then he would go away and come back.ĭid this for like 20 minutes, he comes "in for the kill" I'd get in a couple or few punches. As mentioned in the answer by Mage Xy, Reaper Leviathans have good speed but they cant turn very fast. When you are too far down to do that: hide in a nook and hope it leaves before you run out of oxygen. Reapers wont chase you when you are near the surface. I had a Reaper Leviathan show up in the safe shallows, luckily I was able to find a little entrance under some coral and he couldn't get close enough to grab me right away.Įvery time he would come at me, I punched him with my claw arm on the prawn suit (the default one, the one you can punch and pick up things with). 4 Answers Sorted by: 4 When you are in open waters, swim up.
